well I learned today from people talking about it some fools in switzerland gonna try to create a big bang, which might produce a black hole and kill us all ^^ well we all gotta go some time... anyways what u guys think

They are not trying to make another Big Bang. The Large Hadron Collider is a huge particle accelerator, what it does is smash 2 photons into each other at 99% the speed of light creating something like the moments AFTER the big bang.

There are many things we can learn from this that can lead to such things as fusion technology, or learning more about the Higgs field.

As for concerns of a black hole coming out of this thing and eating us all like a big pac-man, this is highly unlikely due to Hawkings Radiation. It states that as soon as a black hole is formed it is already shrinking and continues to, so the tiny black holes that might be formed during the process are no threat.

except, as brilliant as stephen hawkings is, his black hole theory has never been proven, or discounted for that matter for the simple fact that... if one got close enough to observe the deterrioration of a black hole, one would get sucked into it before any observation could be made

Except nothing escapes a black hole, not even light. So i am not sure how you would observe one.
