POWER LEVELS

I do not understand why different admins have different abilities. (especially when newer members have more power than the old members) I think that all the admins should have the same limited power.

The only abilities that are need are:
>kick (slays player when he rejoins, or takes his time if server gets full)
>ban (up to 2 hours is good enough)
>mute (obviously required for annoying voices, intentional mic spam deserves 5 minute ban)
>rcon (to use lo3 in scrims)
>beacon (this does not affect the game much and encourages CT rushing when T hide)

Unnecessary powers:
>give (giving guns is bad!!!! there is no need to give cash!!!!)
>sethealth (accidents happen and it's unfair for the other players who don't receive hp)
>teleport (very useless in hosties, and just abusive in texture)
>slap (a creative form of teleporting...)
>explode (very annoying)

Player managment:

Non permenant bans/ aka 5 minutes to 2 hours
kick

Fun player management:
Slap
Burn

(beacon maybe... no one ever uses cept me and I use to make cool sounds.

Change map options:

Change map
Set next map

Vote management:
Random map vote
Single map vote
cancel vote
build multi map vote

note this list isn't one hundred percent complete and it is my list and not andys or midgets.

i agree with asiantrix, the others powers just will tempt people to abuse

if by rcon you mean the Mani Admin Rcon comands, then sure... and by the way that works for all commands that are used in rcon

But neverrrrrr give random ppl the rcon password.

rcon is for hosties 2 only, because we use it to scrim.

Well i play a lot and see a SHIT LOAD of hackers.. if i got admin and banned him for 2 hours what would that solve? he'll come right back.. so i think at least new admins should get perm bans

Well, get a main admin to do that, someone that can REALLY be trusted. Cause say if I were in this new admins shoes and I got rcon with my admin, I could completely rape and take over that server.

I have never seen a hacker as in aimbot, wallhacks, etc in Hosties except maybe once. Voteban them if its in hosties 1, but ive never seen 1 in hosties 2, and if they do, take their ID and put it on forums like youre SUPPOSED to

If you mean hacker as in server hacker, how teh frick would you know unless they said "Hey guys Im gonna hack ur server!!!"
